As you know... Zoe's botak now.... so we bought a hat for her from Gap to make her look more girly.... what do you think? Don't think Zoe likes it too much as you can see from the forced smile.

Zoe is also beginning to have a wider range of expressions... here are some of them...

Baby Spidergirl

How old must a baby be before they can crawl? Do we need to train them?

Anyway, we decided to let Zoe have a try at crawling today... to build her neck and arm muscles... so we put her on the Pooh mat that the P&G folks gave...

Here's Baby Spidey on the mat... not knowing what to do...

Mummy Spidey steps into action... giving a demonstration and words of encouragement...

And Baby Spidey manages to push her head off the ground....YEAH! Not crawling yet... but definitely a landmark!

Bumbo Attempt

Tammie gave us her Bumbo chair before she left for Scotland... so yesterday, we tried to put Zoe on it for the first time... she was pretty ok with it...sitting there quietly by herself... a bit sian looking...

probably because she is tired...

Clothes Galore + New Rocker

We realized that we had a lot of gifts from friends and relatives tucked away in different corners out the house. Hence, one day, decided to take stock of all the clothes that were given to her and use them before she outgrows them....

And we realize.... Zoe has tons and tons of clothes!!! Enough to cover an entire Super Single Bed... can setup store in pasar malam already....

Adeline also mailed over some cute shoes (that are still too big for her now) and a cap

The Fisher Price rocker that her friends are on gets a bit warm in the afternoon... so we bought a new pink rocker (its either pink or blue) to put her on in the afternoons. It has holes in it so its much cooler.

小妮姑!

Based on our previous poll some time ago, most people voted that Zoe should shave her head. So we have decided that May 2nd will be the day when Zoe has a whole new look...

She's pretty sleepy that morning... I wonder what she dreams about.... but maybe, she wants to be a praise and worship leader in the future...

Choice of outfit for the day? A pink gap bodysuit from Tammie...

And off we go... again, the little girl's asleep... but fully buckled up in a child seat.... 100% compliance with traffic rules...

The place we are going to is at Harbourfront, once we got there, she goes into the pram... seems like she wants to do hiphop dance in the pram as well...

Ok... moment of reckoning... Mummy's supposed to hold her while the hairdresser shaves her head...

and the shaver goes to work....

And we ask Zoe whether she likes her new haircut? Erm... you can tell from her face. Mummy's trying to polish it to make it shinier..

After the haircut... its diaper changing time!

And we tried carrying her in a sling from Sylvia...yes yes, we carry a lot of things when we are out with her..

She wasn't too comfortable, so back she goes into the pram while we search for lunch.

There's this place called White Dog Cafe in Vivocity... it serves pretty good food at extremely good value.... for $10.80++, you get a main course below, a chicken soup with garlic bread as well as tea and coffee.... pretty good view of Sentosa too. Zoe didn't really let us eat in peace and demanded to be carried every now and then... but the place is pretty noisy.... so no one kicked up a fuss about her crying...

for $2.50, you can upgrade your tea and coffee to a mango pudding. Its good!

So how do we like her new haircut? Well... I am ok with it... it makes her eyes stand out more... Shimin's still getting used to it. We're pretty naughty parents... so we started calling her names from Mini-Me, Spock and 小妮姑! We like 小妮姑 best... so it stuck.

How's Zoe faring? Pretty ok too... don't think she misses the hair...

and now, she can try and look like Michael Jordan...

The Rocker Pics

From the previous post, seems like a lot of people went to Dr Koh when he was a lot younger including Shimin's sis and cousin Emmanuel.... well... he definitely has experience on his side then...

Zoe has been smiling a lot more lately but we are having difficulty capturing it on camera. This is the closest we got so far... a bit artistic hor....

My 二姑family also bought us a rocker for Zoe's first month. Zoe likes to spend time in the rocker after her morning feeds... Shimin calls this the Zoe and Friends time because there are 3 items you can dangle in front of her such as Pink Pig below...
