Of Baby Bonuses and other Benefits...

Sorry for the lack of updates, been rather busy lately with a bit of traveling, Shimin has her cultural events and we have been taking turns to fall ill... probably due to tiredness.

As you know, over the last few weeks, there has been some initiatives by the Government to encourage Singaporeans to have more babies... my view is that the little additional cash will not make a difference. Experts have estimated the cost of bringing up a child to be 6 to 7 figures. Having a child will never make sense from a financial point of view. There is only one reason to have a baby....

Zoe Flips!

Zoe has been "flipping" a bit lately... she was able to turn herself from back to front... but one of her arms will be caught under her body and she will unflip herself.

Today however, she manage to get her arm from underneath her and complete her flip... here's a video of how she did it....

Also visited the PD today...she got her final 6 in 1 jab and second rotavirus oral vaccine today ($267). Weight is 6.7kg and her height is 59.5cm.... so not sure what to buy for 4D. Weight is pretty normal, height is a bit on the short side... Dr Koh's comments.... don't worry...height for babies very hard to measure... depends on how hard the nurse "pulls" their legs.... then again...there are Mah Bow Tans and Goh Chok Tongs in this world.... she might be a Mah Bow Tan....hmm....

Weaning Zoe...

We decided to take advantage of the long weekend to wean Zoe... First food... Heinz Rice Cereal mixed with milk and water. How did it go? It wasn't too bad... she made some funny faces at first but accept it...you can take a look at the video to see how it went... it is 25MB so it might take a while to load... otherwise... just look at this picture....
