小飞鱼 (Little Flying Fish)

We have a swimming pool downstairs but it has been ages since we last swam. To make our maintenance money worth the while, we decided to let Zoe have her first swim! Bought some swim diapers from Huggies for her... pretty expensive! ($16.10 for 12). We reckon that she will enjoy swimming since she like her baths so much....

High Chair Graduate

A couple of good news lately... First, Zoe's constipation has gone away on Thursday after anointing with oil in the morning... other than Smelly Tofu, this is probably the only time that something that smell so bad made us happy...

Second, we were having breakfast today and Zoe refused to sleep at her usual bedtime. So we put her on her high chair and gave her Magmag to her... she seems to be doing ok... can still make faces at her parents...

So while we are having breakfast, she sat there drinking from her Magmag and pretended to be having breakfast with us.... ahhh.... breakfast in peace....

Progress!

An update! Finally! We are not sure what happened but the last few weeks just flew by... probably due to all the Hari Raya and Mid Autumn Fest stuff that Shimin had to do. Zoe is still constipated... she has not passed motion on her own for more than 2 weeks, we needed to insert a supository before she will pass motion.... already went for a couple of PD visits without success so praying hard that she will get well next week.

Other than that, she has been making good progress... we added sweet potato, papaya, carrots, avocado and apples to her diet and she is taking them well.

She can also sit on Bumbo pretty much on her own now...



We also tried to train her to feed herself... so bought a "sippy cup" for her. She know how to grab it and put it into her mouth but still not too sure how to drink from it at the moment... so we are just putting in plain water and let her play with it...
