Funny Faces...

Been fairly busy with Zoe lately, so this blog usually gets updated fortnightly. We still take photos of her almost everyday though, so not to worry....

We switched PD for Zoe to Dr Koh at SBCC (AMK). Parking is cheaper and waiting time seems shorter. When they weigh her on 23rd April, she was 4.4kg! We think the weighing scale there needs some calibration but definitely, she is around 4-4.1kg. Zoe got her first Hep B jab at the clinic and we will go one month later for the second jab.

One of the things she likes to do is to sleep on Daddy's chest... initially was ok because she was fairly light and I could sleep through with her there... now with 4 kg on the chest... its getting a bit hard to breathe....

Here's her in a orange bodysuit from Adeline...

She also likes to stick out her tongue to show that she is hungry....

Anyway, here are some pictures of Zoe we took over the last 2 weeks in her various poses....

Sleeping Buddha pose...

Paparazzi I don't want to be photographed pose...

Funny face... Jim Carrey impersonation...

This is our favourite one... look straight at the camera with eyes wide open....

Random Updates...

A lot of things happen over the last 2 weeks... of course, the primary one was coping without the confinement nanny... definitely not easy being alone with a baby an entire day. Reinforcements were summoned and now, Shimin's mum will come over almost every Mon - Wed. Thu when my mum is on leave, we will go over to their place while Fri - Sun I should be home to help out as well.

To give us some breathing space, we also setup shop at both our parent's place. At Shimin's place, we have the cot below. So that we can leave Zoe with our parents while we go back to our couplehood days. Slight issue at Shimin's place is that Pickles (Shimin's dog) is still not very used to having Zoe around... so we need to tie him down at times.

For other developments...Zoe was 3.5kg when we visited the doc on 4th April. She now also attempts to hold her milk bottle at times...

We also try to put her tummy these days (tummy time) to build her neck muscles. There are times when she was able to turn her head to the other side while other times she was not able too... but we think she is making good progress...

There are times when she is absolutely angelic with eyes wide open.... here's an attempt at a nativity scene....

and a funny face that definitely does not belong to the scene....
