School! The dreaded word for toddlers and parents alike. Anyway, we decided that we should start Zoe at a childcare for her to learn to interact with other kids as well as to get use to having less attention devoted to her. So we (ok, Shimin did most of the research... :P) hunted around the places where Shimin's mum is staying so that Shimin's mum can bring her home after school...
Settled on a place and *gasp*, 2nd Dec Zoe went to school... First, we had to get her to wear a uniform... and due to her small size, the uniforms are kind of big for her...

So does Zoe like the uniform?

Guess not... the first couple of days the parents could hang around so Shimin and her mum were around, she did not cry too much. It was the third day when Shimin had to drop her off and leave that was painful... she grabbed Shimin's leg and refuse to let go, so it was like abandoning your child but it had to be done....
Zoe's hair was also getting long. She perspires easily so we decided to get her a haircut. Dressed her in a pretty blue dress..

and off we went to Junior League at United Square....

Paid $20 for Zoe's haircut which is more than Shimin ($8) and mine ($10) combined! But that place plays her favourite Hi 5 DVD and has balloons, stickers and all. Zoe really hates to get her hair cut and her previous haircuts were all screaming, kicking experiences and the last hairdresser ($5) said that we should start cutting her hair ourselves. We got the hint so we went to Junior League which was a much better experience.... but $20!
Oh, and to enhance her schooling experience, we bought Zoe a Barney Trolley bag...

The kids at school had to pull their bags to the shower during bath time and with a rather heavy bag (1 set of clothes, 1 milk bottle, 1 towel, 1 water bottle), we figured a trolley bag will be best....

Well, Zoe loved the bag... she was dragging it around even at home and putting her toys in it... but today, she was still screaming and crying when Shimin left (20mins according to the teacher). Apparently, Monday's are like that... let's hope Tuesdays to Fridays are better... keep you guys posted!
